TOP 3 RESORT 2013 COLLECTIONS

After long hours of browsing tons of stunning resort 2013 collections from various talented designers, I finally made my top 3 R13 collections.

MMJ never failed to make beautiful and unique pieces that showcased who he really was as a designer. He made pieces that both the old and the young can wear and appreciate.

There was a variety of pieces that came from the sixties through the nineties, but he made sure that his collection was fresh to the public's eyes. He made sure that his collections was never far from what's "in". In fact, he created trend. Marc also used stripes and dots to make his pieces fun and wearable at the same time.

Indeed, this collection deserved to be in my top 3 R13 collections.

CINNAMON ROLLS

I attempted to make puff pastry recently and while I was making it I remembered the episode in Barefoot Contessa where Ina Garten made sticky buns. I didn't follow her sticky bun/cinnamon roll recipe though, I just used the ingredients we had at hand and relied on my memory to sort of make it. Haha it turned out pretty decent, I wouldn't say perfect because the pastry didn't turn out very well. Overall the result was an "okay". The puff pastry was flaky but didn't puff up very much. I'm definitely going to try and perfect this next time. ♥

CLASSIC CRAVINGS

Nothing sounds better than the combination of hot chocolate with marshmallows and milk with Oreo.
While we were doing the little 'photo shoot' of ours, we decided to take a break and eat these! Oh so good. ♥

VOGUE ATTEMPT

So here's our first ever post.
We're starting of this blog with the little 'photo shoot' we did last June 4 and 5, 2012. We had an idea of using some of the editorials in Vogue as our inspiration. Although we were not professional models, make-up artists, and photographers we managed to take good photos. Hope you like it! ♥
